☛ The story of my 3 LovebirdS ☚
ℛambo
ℛambo is the first petbird I have had in my life. It's the opaline one (with a whole red coloured head) I got him when he was 7 weeks old. I was so happy! He was already handtamed. In the beginning I didn't know a lot about keeping birds. But I quickly noticed he was feeling alone. Because I went to school everyday I couldn't pay enough attention to him. We decided to get another lovebird so he wouldn't feel alone anymore.

Chica
Then we got Chica, the turquoise coloured lovebird. At the age of 5 weeks. She was scared of hands in the beginning and she was afraid of us. Chica did like spending time with ℛambo. Unfortunately ℛambo didn't feel the same way. He began biting Chica in her paws and wings. So we had to keep them separated. After months they got together again in the same cage. Since then they started getting a bond with eachother and us. Chica is shy but also enjoys spending time with us as a family.

Lucky
Since October '15 we got Lucky. She is a female lovebird. A mixedbreed between a Fischer's lovebird and Peach-Faced. One day I was busy in the kitchen with doing the dishes when I suddenly thought I'd seen a Peach-Faced lovebird flying in front of our house. It got chased by a magpie. I ran outside with my boyfriend, seeds, millet and a ladder to save her. When Lucky sat still on a windowframe we grabbed her and took her with us inside. She wasn't tame, but is getting tamer everyday. There was
immediately a connection between her, ℛambo & Chica.
